07-25-05- What a killer weekend!! First off Friday we played at The Fish Market. It's always a fun time there. That's like our local hangout, so it's kind of hard not to have a good time. We need to thank Larry and everyone there for having us out and treating us killer as usual. Also thanks for everyone who came out. We saw some friends we haven't seen in a while. After the show we all hung out till the wee hours of the morning. It was a good night. Then comes Saturday... It started out fine, we loaded up the scamp and headed on to 64. The trip was good till about 19 miles or so out of Richmond, then all hell breaks loose. We get a tire blowout on the trailer. At first no one is thinking it's a big deal, then we get out of the car. Everyone starts to make their way to the trailer, and then we notice there is a funny reflection under the car. It turns out to be the reflection of the flames, cause the bottom of the car is on fire. Luckily Darrell acted fast, and pulled a drink out of the cooler and put the fire out before it did some real damage. It turned out that a chunk of the tire landed on the exhaust and ignited. Now that the fire was taken care, we could move onto the tire. We start to take the lugnuts off and notice that our tire iron dosen't fit around one. It is a different size than the other three. This is not something you want to find out 19 miles outside of Richmond on the side of the road!!! We called Darrell's cousin, Greg, and about 45 minutes later he came out with a socket set and saved out asses. We got the tire on, and still made it in time to rock The River City!!!! Check out the pictures page to see some funny pictures of us stuck on the side of the road! A big thank you goes out to Greg for helping us out, Chad and Christie for having us out and treating us so killer, and to all our Richmond friends who came out to ROCK!!!! Also a big thanks to Ugly Friend for rocking out with us, it was a killer show! So that was our weekend, how was yours?! Thanks for stopping!!! Take care and Rock on!!!!
07-06-05- OK so here we go... A lot of stuff has happenend in the past month and change, so we'll try to fill everyone in the best we can. First off we need to thank everyone we helped put on the Fat Dog Festival, Donna, Shane, Dana, Nacy, and everyone else who put in time and effort!! It was really a blast!! It couldn't have gone more perfect! Thanks to everyone who came out and partied with us and all the other killer bands. Please drop by the website and write something on the message board to let them know how much of a killer event it was! Not only was it one of the best shows we'd ever played, but one hell of a good time. But with every good thing, comes a bad thing. A couple of days after the Festival, Steve let us know that he was leaving the band. He felt streched to thin between work life, home life, and band life. Although we could all understand, his decision couldn't have come at a worse time. We had the album and artwork ready to go to press and a two week tour at the end of July. Not to mention all the other shows we had to cancel or find a replacement for and all the plans we had in the works. It could have grinded all of our hardwork to a scretching halt. We all realized pretty quickly that we would have to find a new member of the family pretty quick if we wanted to salvage most of our plans. We didn't want to just "insert bass player here", we needed someone who could fit in with us for the long haul. Luckily Mike was surfing the old my space, and noticed one of his friends bands had recently broken up. So he called him and asked if he would be interested in jamming with us. Jason came out about a week or two later, and everything just clicked right from the start. After the first practice, he had learned five songs and was itching for more. After only a few more practices we've written a new song, come up with an intro for our shows, and tweaked some of the older songs. Jason is a welcome addition and we're all very excited to get in fornt of an auidence again. We'll start re-recording songs for the album in the coming months and go out on the road before the year is up. Every great journey starts with a first step, in our case it's a first show, come on out to Wonderland in Richmond, 1727 E Main St, on July 23rd to witness our comeback to the stage. We are in full force and ready to go!!!! This will be on to remember. Hope we see you out there! Thanks for stopping in!! Take care and Rock on!!!

Also we need to give a big thank you to our buddies in Adrenokrome for tearing it up like only they can. Be sure to check them out when they swing through here again. Another huge thanks goes out to everyone who came out. We made a ton of new friends and fans. The final huge thank you goes out to our friend Travis, not only did he take some killer pictures for us, but he and the rest of the guys in Dreadline always show support whenever they can. That always rocks!! Check out his review of the show here. It was a fun night, we played some older stuff we haven't done in a while, and made new friends, you can't go wrong with that!! Thanks for stopping in!! Hope we see you in Richmond on the 16th! Take care and Rock on!!!!
03-27-05- If you ever get the chance to play on a Saturday Night Fever dance floor, you should do it! So that's what we did. What a killer show at The Have a Nice Day Cafe!! We need to thank Catherine and the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority for having us out for such a good time and a cause. The show was to raise money for The Ronald McDonald House. The final tally was over three thousand dollars raised!!! So thanks to everyone who came out for such a good cause! We met a ton of new people both bands and fans and had a great time. Although we didn't win, we had a blast!! We hope everyone else did too. Be sure to check the shows page to see when we'll rock out again! Thanks for stopping in!! Take care and Rock on!!!!
03-20-05- What a blast!!! Richmond rocks!! We need to thank Chad, Christie, and everyone at Wonderland for having us out, running a killer bar, and having killer food!!! Also we need to thank The Sons of Godzilla and Gojira-X for rocking so hard. The Sons of Godzilla did a killer new song that rocked!! Gojira-X just rock harder and harder each time we see them. It was a stellar show all the way around. Last but not least, we need to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out and rocked out, all of our friends new and old who made us feel right at home!! Not to mention packing out the bar!! It's always nice to play to a lot of friendly faces. We can't wait till we rock Richmond again. Talk to you all later. Take care and Rock on!!!!
02-21-05- Can The New Belmont hold that many people?!! That place was packed. I don't think the Nine Volt music awards have ever had that big of a crowd! We're glad we didn't have to bring our gear! It would have been impossible to get up the stairs and through the crowd!!! We went on 7th out of eight, so we had time to relax and check out the other bands. Everyone did a killer job. Finally it was our turn to break out our Queen cover "Fat Bottomed Girls"!! We got off to a little bit of shaky start but once that bass drum came in, everyone lost their mind. We were one of the only acts to pretty much stick the the original song and not change it up to much. By the end of song, the crowd was singing more than Darrell was. Then it was over. It was wierd to just play one song when your used to playing for an hour or more. Even though we didn't win an award, we had a blast!! We need to thank Jeff Maisey, everyone at Ninevolt, the bands and everyone who helped in any way to put on the show!! It was such a killer event. Can't wait till next year!!! If that wasn't enough excitment, the next day, Sunday, we took pictures for the album. Darrell broke out the old Lincoln and we started shooting. Our good friend Joey, who now drums for Electic Frankenstein, took the shots and will do all the artwork for it. This stuff is gonna look sweet. Once I hook up the DVD Player on my computer, I'll post some of the pics!! Well this turned into a long update. Hope you had a good weekend, cause we know we did!! Check back soon for more updates. Take care and Rock on!!!!
02-19-05- What a killer show!!! We need to thank everyone at Live for having a killer place, Denise for setting it up and the pizza, and the other bands who tore it up with us. First off was Ten Years From Now. We have seen them before, but have never shared the stage with them. Even though they live on the other side of the water, they still rock as hard as anyone from this side, ha ha!!! After they tore it up we went on stage. Attack of the moving drum set. Jason from Eleven 54 let me us his drums. Let's just say the drums were dancing to the music. Other than the moving drums, we had a good set. Then Eleven 54 hit the stage. These guys were super tight and had a ton of energy. Can't wait to rock with them in their homeotwn of Baltimore. As if that wasn't enough rock, Plunge took the stage and finished off the night. In addition to having the ultra sweet tour bus, these guys tore it up for the rest of the night. Awesome band, you should really see them live. It was a killer show all the way around. The beach has never rocked that hard...on a Thursday. We'll see you this Saturday at The New Belmont. Thanks for stopping in!! Take care and rock on!!!
02-13-05- Wow, another stellar show at Neptune's!!!! As usual we need to thank Mark, Andy, and everyone there for showing us a good time. We also need to thank The Sons of Godzilla and Gojira-X for giving us two really tough acts to follow!!!! What a good time!!! The Sons started off the night. This was the first time we had played with them, and man did they rock. Any band that has three guitar players is ok in our book. Then our friends Gojira-X took the stage. Everytime we see these guys, they rock harder and harder. Darrell is jealous of Crumpy's cordless mic. Then we got on the stage, and from what I'm told we did well, ha ha. It was such a killer show!!! If you missed the full on rock assualt, be sure to head on up to Wonderland in Richmond on the 19th of March. Thanks for stopping in!!! Take care and Rock on!!!!
01-24-05- Neptune's Rocks!!!! Mark, Andy and everyone there are awesome! We always have a killer time there. Although there wasn't as big of a crowd as there was at The Half Shell, all three of us rocked it like it was the thing to do. A huge thanks to Lynn and Chris for making the drive, you guys rock!! Adrenokrome went on first this time, so they wouldn't miss the Pittsburgh playoff game, then Rubikon, and then us. The new sound system they have down there is killer. Not to mention the burgers get better each time we go down there!! Always a fun time in Nags Head, can't wait till we rock out on again there on Feb 12th. Now we get to recover from out weekend of rock. Hope we see you at Tonics on Feb 4th. Take care and Rock on!!!
01-23-05- It's good to know that a little ice and freezing rain dosen't stop people from coming out to rock!!! What a killer show!!! First off we need to thank everyone at The Half Shell for having a killer place for bands to play and for showing everyone one a good time. We also need to thank Adrenkrome and Rubikon for rocking like they do. It seems they are on an endless tour so check them out when they come to your town!!! Also we need to thank all of our friends, old and new, who came out to support like Sheila, Bully, Josh, Nemesis, and to everyone we forgot to mention, we saw you, thanks for coming out!!!! Be sure to make the drive down to Neptunes tonight, cause it will be the same line-up but double the rock power. Why double? Cause we said so. Thanks for stopping in!! Take care and Rock on!!!!
01-19-04- Whoa, The Norva!!! What a killer time. The show was set up with each act getting six minutes. It was mostly bands, but there were rappers, singers, and dancers too. We were the last full band to play so we had the stage to ourselves. It was nice!!! We played Bullet and You missed, then were were done. We were just getting started. Oh well next time we rock The Norva's stage, it will be our show!!!! Mike has a good description of the show on his my space site, check it out here. Take care and Rock on!!!!
12-08-04- What a fun time!!! We can't not have a good time in Winston Salem (hope that made sense). The Garage is such a killer place. If there were more places like that around, this world would be a better a place. We need to give Richard a huge thank you for having us down and having one of sweetest places around to play!!! We would seriously drive the 4 hours just to hang out there. We also need to thank My Cousin Walt for rocking the house. Really cool guys and a stellar band, you can't go worng with that combination. Then Easy Bake finished the show. They slayed everyone who was there. They rocked!! It was such a killer show. We also need to thank out K-Vegas family for the killer sofas to crash on!!! We can't wait to do it again. Take care and Rock on!!!
11-01-04- Two shows, two cities, one night, and good times. We had a blast this Halloween. First off we played the party in Norfolk. This thing Rocked!! We need to thank Cornbread for throwing the party, bulding the stage, and hooking things up right!! We also want to thank our friends that live next door, everyone who came out, and the cops. Well maybe not the cops, cause they made us shutdown a little early. But hay we fight the law and the law wins. Also a huge thanks goes out to Hypercane!!! These guys continue to rock harder and harder each time we see them. Then it was off to Virginia Beach to rock The Fish Market with The Deviltones!! This was a killer show. We rocked out, then The Deviltones killed it. Good thing we had to set the clocks back, or none of us could have survived. It was definatly a killer night. Hope we get to do it again next year. Thanks for stopping in!! Take care and Rock on!!!
